Teachers actively engage in learning to expand their professional knowledge.  Below are just a few of the professional development opportunities I have participated in to enhance and expand my knowledge. These certificates provide evidence that I am a lifelong learner.  I teach and certify students in Microsoft Office applications each year.  To prepare them appropriately, I need to be certified. I recertify every time a new version is released.  I also participate in professional development opportunities throughout the school year and summer, as evidenced above.  These learning opportunities keep me current on the changes taking place in the courses I teach.
